Opal Class

Hello, I’m Mr Hinksman and I’m the Year 5 class teacher here at Rishton. As well as being the year 5 class teacher, I am also the Deputy Headteacher of the school. I’ve been teaching for 13 years now but not all of that has been here. This is my fourth year at RMS and I am looking forward to teaching Year 5 again after moving back from Year 6 which I have taught for the last two years. Helping me in Year 5  I have Mrs Wright who is the class teaching assistant and Mrs Tomsett who will be covering our class when I’m out doing my Deputy Head duties. Outside of school I love to travel and have just spent the summer holidays travelling to different countries in Europe such as Switzerland and Spain. Here’s to another fantastic new year at RMS!
