We have had a special visitor leading workshops across the school.
Azeem Amir is 23 and has been visually impaired since birth. However, he says that it has never let it be a barrier to success. Azeem plays Blind Football professionally for the England and Great Britain blind football team and is working towards achieving international success.
He shared, as he left today, that he was very impressed with how engaged, enthusiastic and interested our children were during the sessions. The importance of communication, patience and empathy were key messages from Azeem and the children were really inspired by him.
