Rishton Methodist School, Parent and Teachers Organisation (PTA)
The School has an active and enthusiastic PTA which encourages participation from all parents.
Their main aim is to raise money for the School which will be of benefit to the children. The money is put towards things such as equipment and any improvements that are needed. As well as fundraising, the PTA organises fun and enjoyable events for the school family such as disco’s and cake stalls etc.
The PTA meets during term time and the meetings are fun and informal with all parents invited to attend, or just send along their ideas. Most of all we feel it is enjoyable and important for our parents to help out at events and we are extremely grateful for all the support we receive.
