Amethyst Class
Hello and welcome to Year Three. My name is Mr Lloyd and I’m really looking forward to this term with my new class – especially as I already know some of you from when I worked with you last year. I think we’re going to have a great term together.
There aren’t any subjects that I don’t enjoy, but I like Maths and History best. I like Maths because it helps us so much in real life and I like History because I like to compare how people lived in the past, with how we live today. I also enjoy a good book and love how we can enter the worlds created by good authors.
When I’m not at school, I have three dogs who keep me busy. I enjoy swimming, cycling and running. I like gardening and am in the process of redesigning our garden at home, which was spoilt when we had some building work done. I’m not an expert, but I like to see what will grow well where. That’s a bit like teaching. Not everyone will be an expert at everything, but we all have certain things that we are good at.
I can’t wait for this term to be underway. I hope that you’re coming back to school excited and looking forward to the year ahead.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
