Year 4 – Topaz
Topaz Class
Hello and welcome to Topaz class. My name is Mrs Thompson, and I am the class teacher in Year 4. I’ve been teaching for 22 years now, starting out as a secondary school teacher, and switching to being a primary school teacher 7 years ago. Outside of school, I enjoy listening to music, baking, and going to the gym. I also have a keen interest in foreign languages, being a former French and German teacher, and I am the subject leader for MFL and Science at Rishton Methodist Primary School. I also enjoy spending time with my husband and my 2 sons and visiting my family in Nottingham. Helping me out in Topaz class is the wonderful Mrs Shuttleworth, who does a brilliant job as a class teaching assistant. Together, we are going to work extremely hard to ensure the children have fun whilst they’re learning.
